<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video game in which a leader character under a movement control by a player and a plurality of subsidiary characters under a movement control by a specified algorithm so as to follow the leader character move more naturally while forming ranks. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of slots are set in a game space with the present position of the leader character as a reference, and the subsidiary characters and the slots are matched with each other. Then, the movements of respective subsidiary characters are controlled so as to move from the present positions toward the matched slots.
