The invention relates to an acoustic camera, consisting of a microphone array with an integrated video camera, a data recording unit with a connection to a microphone and to an angular sensor, a calibration device and a computer. Said video camera makes it possible to automatically document each measurement in such a way that photographic records made by the camera are recorded and inseparably united in a data file with recordings of the microphone time functions, time synchronization signals, all scene information and the parameter files of the microphone array and the data recording device. A time function, a frequency function, acoustical pressure, co-ordinates, sound or correlation with a known time function can be chosen for each point of an acoustic image by means of a mouse click on said point and a menu activated by clicking the right button of the mouse.
