PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver having low power consumption and satisfactory sensitivity in reception. SOLUTION: At an IQ deviation compensation section 8, one of multipliers 31, 32 is operated normally, and both the multipliers 31, 32 are operated only when the average amplitude deviation of input signals I_IN, Q_IN is rapidly reduced, and the average amplitude deviation of at least one signal becomes smaller than a threshold TH, thus realizing the receiver having the low power consumption and satisfactory sensitivity in reception.
