PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odor-marking system for crime prevention which uses an aromatic substance to mark a criminal, without having to face the criminal, and then effectively specifies the criminal by an odor discrimination sensor or odor detecting dogs. SOLUTION: The fume marking system for crime prevention has a sensor sensing the presence of persons, installed in the vicinity of the system and sends information from the sensor to a means for emitting aromatic fume into a prescribed space, so as to emit the aromatic fume.
