PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening and closing mechanism of dishwashers for washing dishes or the like in order to realize both setting properties and user-friendliness of a dishwasher. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is equipped with a main body 20, a washing tank 22 provided inside the main body 20, an opening part 36 provided on the washing tank 22, a door body 38 for closing the opening part 36, and a support member 40 supporting the door body 38 to move to a space above the main body 20. The support member 40 has a rotation supporting part 41 rotatably provided on the main body 20 and a sliding support part 41a slidably provided on the door body 38, and a distance that the sliding support part 41a moves in the first half of a rotational angle of the rotation support part 41 when the door body 38 moves from a closed position to an opened position is shorter than the distance that the sliding support part 41a moves in the second half of the rotational angle of the rotation support part 41.
