<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a waiting time and to reduce pre-emission when performing consecutive stroboscopic imaging of an object. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 1 permits light emission of a stroboscopic lamp 3 when first and second conditions are fulfilled. On the first condition, luminance of an object which is measured in the case of imaging is higher than luminance of the object just before imaging that is stored in a memory 7 and a distance to the object measured in the case of imaging is equal with a distance to the object just before imaging that is stored in the memory means, and on the second conditions, a charging voltage of an accumulation means is equal to or higher than a voltage just before the preceding light emission of the stroboscopic lamp 3. Furthermore, the CPU 1 includes a function for pre-emission for weakly emitting the stroboscopic lamp 3 and main emission for strongly emitting the stroboscopic lamp 3 and if both the first condition and the second condition are fulfilled, the main emission is performed with the same quantity of light as that of the preceding imaging without performing the pre-emission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
