<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp in which application of white pigment onto an inner surface of a glass globe is not required, and its optical output is not reduced comparing with a conventional one to emit light efficiently . <P>SOLUTION: In the fluorescent lamp formed by sealing an arc tube 6 with a glass globe 1, an ultraviolet light output lamp providing an output of a waveform having the wavelength of 253.7 nm or more is used for the arc tube 6, the glass globe 1 has an inner surface to which a phosphor 2 consisting of calcium halo-phosphate phosphor and three-wavelength phosphor are applied, and the phosphor 2 is exited by the ultraviolet light outputted from the arc tube 6 to output visible light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
