Roll bar assembly and method for mounting the same

A roll bar assembly 11 for convertibles includes a cross bar 13 to be arranged below a beltline 12 , roll bars 15 connected to the cross bar 13 to protrude upward from the cross bar 13 and a resin-made trim 21 covering the cross bar 13 and the roll bars 15 . Part of the trim 21 covering the cross bar 13 is aligned with the beltline 12 and a plurality of ribs 27 are arranged in space between the said part of the trim 21 and the cross bar 13 in the vehicle width direction.
