PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for spot welding adaptable to the difference in the positions of longitudinal members such as a rafter, a longitudinal girder and a reinforcing member. SOLUTION: A first electrode 11 for spot welding of a rafter 3 is arranged corresponding to the position of the rafter 3, and the first electrode 11 is supported by a first electrode supporting member 11a. A holder 14 of the first electrode supporting member 11a is slidable to a rail 16 on a base 15, and fixed when the tool is used. The first electrode supporting member 11a can be changed corresponding to the section of a rolling stock. The first electrode supporting member 11a can be freely moved to the position required from the structural viewpoint of the rolling stock in the longitudinal direction of the body structure, and fixed thereto. An L-shaped guide member 20 is mounted on the first electrode supporting member 11a. A third electrode supporting member 13a is mounted on the guide member 20 in a positionally adjustable manner in the right-to-left direction and in the vertical direction of a roof body structure.
