PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber including an electroconductive polymer having excellent adhesion and electroconductivity. SOLUTION: The method for producing the electroconductive fiber comprises (1) a step for treating a fiber in a supercritical fluid by using a compound having a five-membered aromatic heterocyclic structure or an aniline structure as a part or the whole, and (2) a step for forming a film of a polymer of the above compound on the surface of the fiber by treating the fiber obtained at the step (1) with an oxidizing agent.
