PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically reinstall operation software without requiring any large auxiliary storage capacity. SOLUTION: Operation software 118 is configured of divided data 1 to n, and those divided data 1 to n are distributed and stored in each of n programmable controllers 100. In this state, for example, when reinstallation is required in the programmable controller 100 in which the divided data x are stored, the divided data 1 to n (excluding the divided data x) are transferred from the other programmable controllers 100 to the programmable controller 100 in response to a request from the programmable controller 100. Therefore, the operation software 118 can be restored from the divided data 1 to n (excluding the divided data x) and the divided data x, and the reinstallation can be executed.
