PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a waveguide twist to be easily produced by a general-purpose machine tool, as well as reduce the size of the waveguide twist. SOLUTION: By utilizing the property that electromagnetic waves can be transmitted by inserting a cubiod-shaped cavity 31 tilted at an angle of half the twist/ turn angle, the electromagnetic waves are made to turned about the traveling direction axis. The size of the cube-shaped cavity 31 inserted is as small as being one fifth to one sixth of the electromagnetic wavelength and is therefore easy to produce.
