A three-dimensional shape measuring system (10) comprising a transferring table (12) for transferring a measurement object (1) in a predetermined direction, a slit light source (14) for irradiating the object (1) being transferred by the transferring table (12) with slit light, a camera (16) for imaging the object (1) irradiated with the slit light, a computer (18) and a display (20). The three-dimensional shape calculating section (18b) in the computer (18) calculates the three-dimensional shape of the object (1) by using the position of the slit light in the image picked up by the camera (16). When the position of the slit light in the image picked up by the camera at each time is extracted, the three-dimensional shape calculating section (18b) searches a given area defined based on the position of the slit light in an image at a past time for each pixel array parallel to one side of the light receiving surface. |
