<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection apparatus 1 capable of making the quantity of fuel supplied to an engine by a high pressure pump 2, almost coincide with the fuel demand quantity of the engine even if the quantity of fuel supplied by a low pressure pump 5 changes with the lapse of time due to the degradation or the like of an electric motor 3. <P>SOLUTION: A low pressure pump supply pressure detecting means 8 is disposed in a fuel passage a, and a control means 9 performs correction control of the valve opening of an SCV 6 according to a detection signal from the low pressure pump supply pressure detecting means 8. Consequently, even if the fuel supply quantity of the low pressure pump 5 changes with the lapse of time, the quantity of fuel supplied to the engine by the high pressure pump 2 can be made almost coincident with the fuel demand quantity of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
