OPTICAL INTERFERENCE TYPE REFLECTION ELEMENT, ITS REPAIR METHOD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an adverse effect onto a potential difference to be applied to other optical interference type reflection element caused by the short circuit of one optical interference type reflection element. SOLUTION: The optical interference type reflection element has a light incident electrode and a light reflection electrode. Each or both of the two kinds of electrodes are made of a display section and a wiring section which are mutually and electrically connected by a connection section. A plurality of the optical interference type reflection elements are mutually connected and electrode lines are formed by the wiring sections. The electrode lines are used for the optical interference type reflection structure formed by the optical interference type reflection elements driven by a passive matrix system.
