PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the output current of a DC-DC converter with low loss and at high precision. SOLUTION: In the DC-DC converter, currents (I<SB>O</SB>), flowing opposite each other, flow two coils (N<SB>A</SB>and N<SB>B</SB>) of a common mode choke coil (10), so that the magnetic fluxes occurring at the magnetic core of the common mode choke coil (10) cancel each other. Thus, no voltage fluctuation due to ripple noise, spike noise, or the like occurs at each coils (N<SB>A</SB>and N<SB>B</SB>) of the common mode choke coil (10). Since, the voltage occurring at both ends of the coils (N<SB>A</SB>and N<SB>B</SB>) of the common mode choke coil (10) is composed only of the voltage drop component caused by a minute electric resistance present in the conductor constituting the coils (N<SB>A</SB>and N<SB>B</SB>), both ends of the coils (N<SB>A</SB>and N<SB>B</SB>) generate a voltage (V<SB>L</SB>) proportional to an output current (I<SB>O</SB>). So, the output current (I<SB>O</SB>) of the DC-DC converter is detected at low loss and with high precision thanks to the voltage (V<SB>L</SB>) generated at both ends of one coil (N<SB>A</SB>) of the common mode choke coil (10).
