PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording data creation method and an inkjet recording apparatus, which enables the shortening of the fixing time for a first ink while reducing a deterioration in the image quality of an image formed by ejecting respective inks of an ink set, composed of a plurality of colors, to an image area formed of the first ink. SOLUTION: In this recording data creation method, when each image data for a color ink, used for imparting the color ink of each color Y, M or C to an image area formed of image data for a black ink, is created, the image data for the color ink are created from the image data for the black ink, so that a tint of an area, to which each of the color inks is imparted, in the image area for the black ink can be similar (matched 75) to a tint of the black ink.
