PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immunological testing method of a specimen, constituted so as not only to more symplify an testing method, but also to shorten the testing time and capable of performing accurate diagnosis, and to provide a simple testing instrument used therein. SOLUTION: The immunological testing method of the specimen constituted so that a specimen-housing container 1, on which a first cap 3 having a labeled antibody impregnated filter 5 built therein is mounted, is fitted in an injection container 9 and a diluted specimen liquid (a) is discharged in the injection container from the specimen housing container, and after the discharged liquid has been stirred and mixed in the injection container, the mixed liquid is discharged and injected in a testing device to observe reaction and the presence or the kind of the antigen in the specimen is tested to carry out the diagnosis. This examination method uses a container integrated with operation for adding a labelled antibody, while filtering the diluted specimen liquid, operation for stirring the filtered specimen liquid and operation for injecting the stirred liquid in the test device, while filtering the same. This immunological testing method and the testing instrument are suitably used for the examination or emergent simple testing of infectious disease, such as influenza virus or the like.
