The present invention relates to a container consisting of a bottom (3) and four side walls (1, 2) that can be folded onto the bottom (3) by means of suspension elements (11) being designed as plug-in connecting elements, so that the side walls (1, 2) may be plugged with their suspension elements (11) arranged at their lower edge into corresponding openings (8) in the bottom (3) of the container and locked therein by locking elements (19) fitting in said openings (8), wherein the side walls (1, 2) arranged behind them are locked in the bottom (3) by means of the suspension elements (11). At least one locking catch (17), extending transversely to the direction of a hinge pin (13) is arranged on said hinge pin (13) and communicates in upright position of the side walls (1, 2) with an arm (18) performed in the opening (8) so that in upright position of the side walls (1, 2) the end of the locking catch (17) protrudes over the arm (18) and forms a mechanical bar for the upright side wall (1, 2). |
