SLIDING SASH LOCKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding sash locking device ideal for crime prevention by automatically performing sash locking operation, interlocked with sash closing operation. SOLUTION: A door stop 12 of a vertical frame 4 is provided with a hook-like stop piece 13 projecting toward a door end stile 3 of a sash. A locking piece 6 turned in sash closing operation to lock its tip part piece 6a to the stop piece 13 is turnably pivoted on the door end stile 3 at its base part piece 6b. An upper end of a vertical moving member 15 energized in a lifting direction by a spring 18 and assembled to the door end stile 3 is linked with the base part piece 6b. The vertical moving member 15 is provided with a regulating part piece 21 locked to a stop edge 23 provided at the door end stile 3 to regulate the above energization. The door stop 12 is provided with an operating piece 24 for detaching the regulating part piece 21 from the stop edge 23 when closing the sash. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
