PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which image files can be put in order for each user by automatically storing an image file of each user in a user folder corresponding to each user so that image files of a plurality of users are not mixed in one user folder. SOLUTION: A user who uses a digital camera, is discriminated from an inputted user ID (password) (step S10), a user folder corresponding to a new user is automatically created when the user is new (step S14) and when a user folder of that user is created already, a corresponding user folder is automatically selected (steps S16-S20). When the user who uses the digital camera at present performs photographing (step S22), an image (image file) that is captured during the photographing, is stored into the created or selected user folder (step S24).
