<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment chair capable of preventing a patient from unconsciously opening feet and allowing the patient to be treated in a more relaxed state without worrying about the position of feet by devising the shape of a footrest of the treatment chair. <P>SOLUTION: A recess 20 for receiving heels H is formed in positions where the feet F (F<SB>R</SB>and F<SB>L</SB>) are set when the patient W is lying on the back on the treatment chair 1, so that the heels H of the patient W are set in the recess 20. The width L of the recess 20 is such that the heels H of both feet F<SB>R</SB>and F<SB>L</SB>of the patient can be appropriately set in; the maximum width is wider than the width to prevent both heels from entering and the minimum width is narrower than the width to allow both feet put side by side to freely open. If the patient lies himself/herself on the back on the treatment chair 1 with both feet put side by side and the heels set in the recess 20 in this way, the patient can receive treatment without feet being opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
