The method of producing an auto-vaccine which accelerates soil and sewerage purification of petroleum-related impurities consists in the isolation of bacteria from soil or sewerage by means of dilutions, and in preparing a selective enriching bacteria culture with petroleum or naphthalene as the only source of carbon. Then, the bacteria are identified and tested in a liquid mineral medium, enriched with 0.05 percent by volume of hexane or toluene, or 0.01 percent by mass of naphthalene. Bacteria cultures are kept in closed bottles. Then, the bacteria are bred in a liquid mineral medium, enriched with 0.1 percent by volume of sterilised petroleum in open flask. This is followed by breeding the selected bacteria strains that are most effective in decomposing hydrocarbons. It is characterised in that the selected bacteria re-bred on a bullion medium. After the end of the 48-hour breeding cycle, the bacteria suspension obtained by breeding is purified of bullion by placing it in a 15 cm3> test tube, which is centrifuged for 10 minutes at 3500 rpm. The collected layer of supernatant is decanted and 10 cm3> of physiological saline - a 0.85 percent solution of NaCl - is added to the precipitate. The obtained suspension is subjected to three 30-second cycles of shaking and introduced into a solution of mineral salts and microelements.
