PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat adjustment device for a vehicle capable of automatically changing the seat state without being adjusted by a driver. SOLUTION: The seat adjustment device for the vehicle is provided with a changing means 11 for changing the seat state of a front seat 12 on which the driver 15 driving the vehicle is seated between the usual attitude maintaining state for maintaining the driver 15 to the usual attitude and the load reduction state for reducing the load more than the load applied when the driver is in the usual attitude; a determination means 11 for determining whether intrusion of the vehicle from a highway to a general road or intrusion from the general road to the highway; and a switching means 11 for controlling the changing means 11 so as to switch the seat state from the usual attitude maintaining state to the load reduction state based on the determination result of the determination means 11 when the seat state is in the usual attitude maintaining state.
