PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately rake off foreign matters. SOLUTION: A cover 4 is screwed to a body 3 having an inlet 1 and an outlet 2 to form a valve casing with a valve chest 5 inside. A valve port 8 is provided between the valve chest 5 and the outlet 2 for communicating the valve chest 5 with the outlet 2. A valve stem 12 having a valve element 13 integrally provided at one end for opening/closing the valve port 8 is arranged with the other end displaceably fitted to a valve stem fitting hole 18. A bimetal laminate 28 as a temperature sensitive member is arranged around the valve stem 12, and the valve stem 12 is connected to the cover 4 so as to be rotated with the rotation of the cover 4. With the rotation of the cover 4, the valve element 13 is rotated to rake off foreign matters deposited on the valve port 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
