<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an inkjet recording apparatus, which enable an excellent-character-quality and high-definition image preventing the occurrence of color mixing to be stably recorded with good reproducibility without the curling, waviness, etc. of a recording material. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming method, the active ray-curable ink, which contains a photoinitiator, photopolymerizable compound and pigment, and dispersant with an acid value greater than an amine value, is jetted onto a recording material from an inkjet recording head, so that printing can be done on the recording material; and the active ray-curable ink is cured by a light source whose power consumption per hour is less than 1 kW, after the active ray-curable ink reaches the recording material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
