PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the degree of freedom of arrangement of a switch used as a pressing object and to improve its operability, in a switch mechanism for detecting a pressing operation from the outside to output a predetermined signal to a control part disposed in a casing. SOLUTION: In this switch mechanism, a mediation part 80 formed of a part of a base panel 7 is formed between an operation member 70 mounted to a cover panel 8 and a tactile switch 61 in a casing 4; hinge parts 75 and 81 of the operation member 70 and the mediation part 80 are formed on the facing sides on the basis of the operation part 72. As a result, the transmission position of pressing force by the operation member 70 located on the lower side of the operation part 72 can be shifted to the upper side of the operation part 72 by interlaying the mediation part 80, and the tactile switch 61 located on the upper side relative to the operation part 72 can be pressed.
