<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a sheet having a rugged cross-sectional shape free from wrinkles or a camber when forming the sheet having the rugged cross-sectional shape around which a flat part is provided. <P>SOLUTION: A forming method for the sheet having the rugged cross-sectional shape free from the wrinkles or the camber is disclosed for for forming the rugged cross-sectional shape on a metallic sheet with a pair of die rolls and the forming is performed by using a pair of die rolls on which taper or step is provided in the axial direction and/or the peripheral direction. Furthermore, in the above method, it is desirable to perform the roll forming of a metallic sheet having a hole in the equivalent positions to the corners of the rugged cross-sectional shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
