摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange system for an engine capable of suitably adjusting temperature of an endoergic medium by performing heat exchange adapted for an engine condition. SOLUTION: In this heat exchange system, an exhaust manifold 14 is attached to a cylinder head 13 of the engine 11 and a catalytic converter 15 is provided in a downstream part. A selector valve 16 is provided in a downstream of the catalytic converter 15, a main exhaust pipe 17 and a sub exhaust pipe 18 are connected to the selector valve 16 respectively. A heat exchanger 19 for heating engine oil is provided in a middle of the sub exhaust pipe 18, the sub exhaust pipe 19 is connected to an exhaust pipe 21 after being merged to the main exhaust pipe 18 in the downstream side. Opening of the selector valve 16 is adjusted by a control device according to an operation condition of the engine 11 at the time. Consequently, flow rate of exhaust gas flowing to the main exhaust pipe 17 and the sub exhaust pipe 18 is adjusted and temperature of engine oil is adjusted suitably. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
