The kiln has a box (1) made of insulating material, inside which a wood to be dried is placed. A plenum (4) has a flow distribution baffle (5) to distribute air blown through the wood. Majority of the air is recycled by air blowers (3) and a part of it is emptied by an exhaust duct (6). The temperature and hygrometry of the blown air is self-regulated while ensuring increase of temperature and decrease of humidity rate during drying.
