PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ureido derivative of a hydroxynaphthalenecarboxylic acid in a short time in a high yield. SOLUTION: The method for producing a ureido derivative of a hydroxynaphthalenecarboxylic acid represented by general formula [6] comprises reacting an aminocarbonyl group-containing naphthol derivative represented by general formula [1] with an isocyanate represented by general formula [5] in an organic solvent at 90-200°C.
