<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable recycling of an epoxy resin degradation product as a fuel etc. and an alkali metal halide as a chemical raw material, by recovering a halogen contained as a flame retardant in an epoxy resin used for an insulated material, an adhesive, a paint, etc. <P>SOLUTION: In a dehalogenation method of the epoxy resin, a halogen-containing epoxy resin is dissolved or dispersed in a treatment solution containing an alkali metal compound and a solvent and treated for a prescribed time, the solvent is subsequently removed, and the obtained solid content is heated to recover the alkali metal halide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
