PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering damper device capable of improving the steering management of a vehicle body by reducing the load on a steering wheel when the vehicle speed is low, and maintaining a stable posture of the vehicle body by suppressing the steering wheel shake by increasing the load on the steering wheel when the vehicle speed is high. SOLUTION: A rotary type steering damper is provided coaxially with a steering shaft, and a damping force is generated in a variable valve by the rotation of the steering shaft to form the load on a steering wheel. The damping force is variably controlled according to the vehicle speed. When the vehicle speed is equal to or lower than the first reference speed V1 on the low-speed side, the damping force is fixed to a minimum value C1, and when the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the second reference speed V2 on the high-speed side, the damping force is fixed to a maximum value C2.
