The compressor has a scroll compressor unit (12) that is arranged in outer housing (10) and comprised with compressor portions (16,18) which are relatively movable. A stroke catcher is formed with an aperture which is extended from an orifice to a high pressure side of a high pressure chamber (210) in the scroll compressor unit. A movement space is formed between valve with a valve seat and the stroke catcher. The aperture is positioned with respect to a central axis of the movement space.
