PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granulated and dried product which mainly comprises L-lysine and shows low solidifiability and low hygroscopicity. SOLUTION: Hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or an L-lysine solution with an anion/L-lysine equivalent ratio of >=0.95 is added to a starting L-lysine solution with an anion/ L-lysine equivalent ratio of <=0.68 to adjust the anion/L- lysine equivalent ratio to 0.68-0.95. The resultant solution or a concentrate thereof is granulated and dried to obtain the granulated and dried product mainly comprising L-lysine and having low solidifiability and low hygroscopicity.
