<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte type fuel battery cell in which, even in case that a reaction prevention layer is formed between an oxygen electrode and a solid electrolyte layer, the original property of the oxygen electrode is not impaired and sufficient output can be secured. <P>SOLUTION: This is a solid electrolyte type fuel battery cell which has an oxygen electrode layer on one surface of a solid electrolyte layer and has a fuel electrode layer on the other surface and in which the oxygen electrode layer is provided on the solid electrolyte layer through the reaction prevention layer. The oxygen electrode layer is formed so that the electrode functional index W as defined in a formula (1): W=n<SB>1</SB>L may be 300-500. In the formula, n<SB>1</SB>shows the number of contact point between the reaction prevention layer and the oxygen electrode layer per unit length (10 μm) of the interface, and L shows the thickness (μm) of the oxygen electrode layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
