PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively inexpensive extension board although cracks cannot easily be generated and reliability is improved. SOLUTION: The extension board 31 comprises a extension board body 38 and a plurality of conductive sections 35. The extension board body 38 has a first surface 32 in which a semiconductor element 21 having a face connection terminal 22 should be packaged, and a second surface 33. The extension board body 38 has a plurality of through holes 34 for connecting the first and second surfaces 32, 33.
