SOLUTION: A railroad car 1 towed by a locomotive 3 is equipped with motors 13a and 13b, a small-sized driving means 12 composed of a power converting means 122 for driving the motors and a secondary battery 121 for supplying the power converting means 122 with power, and a power receiving means 19. It receives power via a power converting means 33 and a pair of power lines 5 and the power receiving means 19 from the locomotive 3, and charges a secondary battery 121 at usual travelling.
