The remote-control system includes a mobile radio-signal terminal (10), a data server (25), and a network (24) through which they communicate with each other. The mobile radio-signal terminal (10) includes a memory (19) storing remote-control codes therein, a signal transmitter (16) transmitting a first remote-control signal (S2) to a target device (22), based on a remote-control code selected among the remote-control codes for causing the target device to carry out a desired operation, a signal receiver (17) receiving a second remote-control signal (S1) from a terminal (21) which remote-controls the target device, and a controller (15) which determines a remote-control code, based on the received second remote-control signal, receives a set of remote-control codes from the data server, and stores the remote-control codes in the memory. The data server selects the set of remote-control codes associated with the target device, based on the second remote-control signal, and transmits them to the mobile radio-signal terminal. <IMAGE> |
