Wall plate (1) used for information purposes comprises a plate-shaped display board with several information fields that can be hung on a wall. The information fields are text fields (5) with permanent text, especially text significant to two users of the wall plate for silent exchange of information between the two users. The information fields have a marking device consisting of two marking fields arranged on both sides or on one side of the text fields to form two vertical marking field rows (6a, 6b).
