PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of a digital camera by reducing the number of parts thereof. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 12 is attached to the left face of a camera body 11 of the digital camera 10. The liquid crystal panel 12 is freely turned between a laid position where a display panel 27 is folded so as to be opposed to the left face of the camera body 11 and an erected position where the display panel 27 is erected from the left face of the camera body 11. The camera body 11 is provided with a battery storing room 21 for storing a battery 20 and a card storing room 24 for storing a memory card 23. An aperture 21a for loading the battery 20 which is connected to the battery storing room 21 and an aperture 24 for loading the memory card 23 which is connected to the card storing room 24 are formed so as to be covered with the liquid crystal panel 12 when the liquid crystal panel 12 is on the laid position and so as to be exposed when the panel 12 is on the erected position. Since the liquid crystal panel 12 can be used as cover members for covering respective apertures 21a, 24a, the size and cost of the digital camera 10 can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
