PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing clock parts made from a very hard crystalline material, especially a bottom board made from sapphire, which can be achieved with a high degree of accuracy in pore diameter/position and position/depth of impression, as needed, and also at a low scrappage rate. SOLUTION: In this method, first a movement blank fixed on a supporting member is machined. At the bottom of the support member, a plurality of index holes with equal diameter are provided, being configured so that each of them locates pores (3-9) or hollows (11-15) formed inside the movement blank to be engaged with pins arranged vertically on a turntable rotary shaft of the machine without plays. Formation of pores, located exactly inside the movement blank comprises (a) a step of punching temporary pores of a diameter smaller than that of the final pore size, a step of expanding the pore size by grinding, and (b) making the turntable rotary shaft for grinding wheel or rounding means of other methods gradually deviated.
