<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of taking security measures for contents, even when acquiring the contents through a device other than an electronic musical device which utilizes musical content. <P>SOLUTION: In the content acquiring system for this electronic music device, when the content acquiring device (personal computer) PC receives music content from a contents distribution site (P1), the device makes a request for acquiring the machine ID of the electronic musical device EM using them (P2). In response to the request, when the device can acquire the machine ID (P3 → YES), the device can acquire the contents of this music, and embeds the machine ID in the music contents (P4), and stores the music contents with the machine ID, embedded in a predetermined storage medium or transfers them to the electronic music device EM (P5).
