PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic coated paper that is free of the occurrence of blister during fixing and superior in the stability of the size of paper, which is used for an indirect contact dry system electrophotographic full-color copying machine and a printer, and to provide an image forming method which uses the coated paper. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic coated paper, a coating layer, comprising a pigment and an adhesive as its main components, is formed on each side of the base material comprising wooden fiber as its main constituent, the coating layer being in the range of 5 to 15 g/m<SP>2</SP>in the amount of solid content per side, the rate of change in the moisture content, before and after the coated paper is left for 30 sec in a 120°C oven after a moisture adjustment has been made according to the conditions stipulated by JIS-P8111 is 0.3 mass% or lower.
