COAXIAL LINE - FLAT SUBSTRATE CONVERSION STRUCTURE AND HIGH-FREQUENCY SIGNAL CONVERTER

It is possible to reduce reflection attributed to a converter in conversion between a high-frequency coaxial line and a flat substrate line. A high-frequency signal converter includes: a high-frequency coaxial line engaged in a metal package (110) into which a coaxial connector (111) is inserted; and a coplanar circuit (100) having a rear surface conductor (103) on which a center conductor (102) and a surface gland (101) are formed. A rectangular portion of the conductor in the vicinity of the conversion unit of the surface gland (101) is removed to form a conductor removed section (108), which can reduce the electric field distribution in the conversion unit and suppress lowering of the characteristic impedance, thereby suppressing reflection.
