PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively reduce air-conditioning load in a room without causing energy loss by appropriately operating an air flow system. SOLUTION: This air flow system is provided with a heat insulating screen 4 liftably disposed in an indoor opening in a position spaced from a window opening, to form a sealed space 8a partitioned from a living room space 1, between an outdoor sash 3 and the heat insulating screen 4 in a totally closed state of being lowered into a lowermost position while forming a ventilating clearance 9 and an air flow passage 8 in a state of being held into a clearance forming position lifted by a predetermined amount from the lowermost position; a temperature sensor 10 disposed in the clearance between the outdoor sash 3 and the heat insulating screen 4; and an exhaust means 11 having a suction port 13a opened to the upper part of the clearance, a shutter 14 for opening/closing the suction port 13a, and an exhaust fan 15.
