PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk memory device and an eccentricity learning processing reexecuting method capable of successfully loading a head on a disk by calculating learned values even if of the disk changes in disk environments make discrepancies between learned initial eccentricity measured in advance and currently learned values. SOLUTION: This is an eccentricity learning processing reexecuting method for a disk memory which positions the head by using servo data. It periodically monitors a converging state of the learned values in a learning processing step which moves the head to a predetermined position on the disk to compute coefficients to determine the feed forward controlled amount for eliminating positional errors due to disk revolutions. When the learned values do not converge within a predetermined period, it judges whether the difference between the samples indicates a monotonous decrease or not, and switches the reexecuting method according to the result of the judgement.
