PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform high-speed traveling on a road and to perform simple and precise shifting operation in a multi-speed traveling tractor having an auxiliary transmission. SOLUTION: This transmission device of a tractor includes: a main transmission device 26; an auxiliary transmission device 27; a forward-backward switching device A and an accelerator pedal 40 for automatically shifting gears. A shifting range of the accelerator pedal 40 is set to a low speed range in which the backward highest speed position is lower than the forward highest speed position.
