The barrier protection (1) is for protecting growing plants (5) against incursion by harmful insects and is produced by a sheet of polymer material. It has an upper part (2) and a connected lower part (3) which can be inserted into the ground. The upper part on the sheet one side has a slippery surface (4), which extends over at least a part of the height of the upper part and on its side is applied with polyamide powder. - With the protection, the barrier protection upper part is heated so that the surface layer of the one side is heated to at least the melting point of the polymer material. A slippery medium is then applied in the form of a polymer powder on the surface layer. |
