PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of uniforming the luminance of a display board similarly to the case of using an exclusive light emitting diode while using an inexpensive light emitting diode of standard specification to suppress an increase in cost. SOLUTION: A lens 5 is produced as a different part and attached to an inexpensive general light emitting diode 4, and the illuminating angleθ2 of the light emitted from the lens 5 is set larger than the illuminating angleθ1 of the light emitted from the diode 4 to perform transmitted illumination of a dial 2. According to this, the effect equal to that when using a custom light emitting diode or the effect that the dial 2 can be luminously displayed at an uniform brightness can be obtained at a lower cost than when using the custom light emitting diode.
